Alicia Fernández

Alicia Fernández was born in Spain and works in Leeds as a translator. Her poems have appeared on Algebra of Owls and included in the anthologies Freefall (Wellhouse Publications) and Un/Forced (Ings Poetry). Her poem ‘Worth it’, included in this pamphlet, was shortlisted in the Poetry Kit’s Spring Poetry Competition 2017. She won the title of Chapbook Champion 2017 at Ilkley Literature Festival, awarded by BBC Poet in Residence Daljit Nagra.
